Less crowded than the Basque Country spots, Foz offers a more relaxed, authentic Galician vibe. An excellent left at the mouth of the Masma river — only fires in bigger swells, when it becomes fast and hollow. Bars, restaurants and shops in the area.
Autumn and winter deliver the best conditions, with long powerful swells from the north.
Good level required. You can stand, paddle and read a peak. When it fires, better know what you're doing.
