World-renowned spot and WSL stop. Limited parking but regularly excellent sandbars with world-class waves. Best at low to mid tide on a W/NW swell. One of the most powerful beach breaks in France.
Surfable all year. Autumn (Sep-Nov) is the best season: powerful swells, water still mild, less crowd.
Good level required. You can stand, paddle and read a peak. When it fires, better know what you're doing.
